0641 - Box 2-14 1st alarm units were sent to Mifflin Boro, 111 Path Street, for smoke in a structure. Engine 2 marked out with 5, JCCC advised burnt food, house is full of smoke. Crews arrived, confirmed no fire, box was held to Co2 and EMS. Ventilation was set up and the house cleared, no injuries.

Smokehouse on Fire in Walker Twp
Mifflintown Hose Co No1, November 27
1908 - Box 2-04 1st alarm units were sent to a building fire on Maykut Ln. in Walker Twp. JCCC advised the smokehouse caught fire and spread to the house. Captain 2 arrived, reported small smokehouse fully involved, house was not invoved yet. Squad 1 arrived, pulled a line for suppression. Engine 2 crew assisted Squad crew with clearing the house. Trailer Burns Up Along 322
Mifflintown Hose Co No1, November 24
1516 - Box 2-07 Units were sent to Fermanagh Twp, Rt 322 W at Arch Rock, for a vehicle fire. Engine 2 marked out with 5, Chief 2 to the scene. Units found a trailer on fire, detached from a truck. Crews deployed a line and made quick work of the trailer and small grass fire. No injuries.

Car Overturns on West River Rd
Mifflintown Hose Co No1, October 30
0737 - Box 2-01 Units were sent to 3600 block of W River Rd (Chicken Plant Rd) for an MVA with rollover. Box 2-01. Rescue 2 marked out with 5, JCCC advised 1 vehicle rolled over, possibly a child still inside. Capt 2 arrived, confirmed 1 car on its roof, occupant out, no child involved. Driver was checked out by EMS, road was closed until wrecker services cleared the road.

Elevator Rescue at the Middle School
Mifflintown Hose Co No1, October 29
Crews were sent to Fermanagh Twp, Tuscarora Junior High School, for an elevator rescue. Box 2-01. Rescue 2 marked out with 7, Chief 2 to the scene. JCCC advised elevator stuck between floors, 1 person inside. Crews made contact, janitor was fine. Crews worked the elevator down and open without incident.

Hay Bale on Fire in a Pickup
Mifflintown Hose Co No1, October 27
Units were sent to 322 E/B, east of Port Royal exit, for a vehicle fire. Box 2-08. Tanker 2 returning from a call was first out. Capt2 arrived, reported a round bale well off in the bed of a pickup, towing a horse trailer. Tanker 2 arrived, deployed a handline and got a quick hit on the fire. JCCC dispatched local alarm units to Maple Lawn Associates on Blackdog Road, Delaware Twp. 1st arriving Chief reported smoke showing, bumped the box to 1st alarm plus Truck 2. Interior crews found fire in the building, box ultimately went to a 3rd alarm status. Units were on scene for hours. Truck 2, Tanker 2 initially to the scene. Units were sent to Milford Twp, Rt 35 S just before Juniata Valley Winery, for an MVA with rollover, possible entrapment. Box 2-10. Rescue 2 marked out with 5, Chief 2-2 to the scene. JCCC advised 1 vehicle overturned, possibly 2 injuries and entrapment. Crews arrived, confirmed 1 Jeep on its side, 1 occupant inside, not trapped.
