Fatal MVA in Mifflin Boro

Units were sent to Mifflin Boro, Rt 35S & Mowery Street, for an MVA with injuries. Box 2-14. Rescue 2 marked out with 5, Chief 2-1 in the seat. Captain 2 arrived confirmed 1 van partially on the road, 1 very critical patient. No entrapment. Crews immediately shut the road down. Unfortunately one person sustained fatal injuries. One other was transported by Fayette Ambulance. 2 others refused treatment. Roadway was closed approx 5 hours (opened at 10:13) Thank you to all who showed up. Prayers going out to everyone affected.
