Back in August, we responded mutual aid with Thompsontown Volunteer Fire Company No. 8 to a major accident on Rt 322 E in Walker Twp. 2 were flown to trauma centers, unfortunately one person did not make it. Tonight, all responders involved in the incident, got together at Co8 and got to hear from one of the survivors and her family. Mrs. Compton’s husband did not survive the accident. She and her family wanted to share their gratitude, give an update on how they are doing and make sure we all knew how appreciative they were for our service. We were all very humbled and appreciated the recognition. Our continued prayers are with you all.
