Apartment Building Fire in Port Royal

351 - 1st alarm units were sent to Port Royal, 314 Market Street, for a high occupancy fire. Box 1-01. JCCC advised smoke in the building. Captain 2 arrived, reported 2 story multi unit, smoke from the eaves on Side A, fire from Side C window. Squad 1 laid in from 4th & Milford, deployed hand line to second division. Engine 2 arrived Side A, crew to the 2nd division. Truck 2 to Side C to assist with ventilation and overhaul. Interior had fire in the walls and the ceiling, quick knock and overhaul. All other units to stage and send manpower forward. Residents were assisted out, no injuries reported. Red Cross and Helping Hands were assisting the residents. Great work by all.
