0147 this morning, 1st alarm units were sent to the rear of the 400 block on Main Street in Port Royal, for a building fire. Box 1-01. Multiple calls for a working fire. Chief 1 (Tornambe) arrived, reported a 2 story garage, fully involved, with exposures. Squad 1 arrived, deployed 2 lines. Truck 2 had Main St. Engine 2 had a hydrant. Engine 8 deployed a line and all tankers were additional supply. Engine 4 had fill site in Old Port. The fire building was destroyed, an adjacent structure heavily affected, along with a vehicle. 2 houses and a nearby church did have some exterior/siding damage from the intense heat. Thankfully no injuries.

Please send additional prayers to the family, they are friends of several of our members, no injuries, but they did lose some property and a few chickens that meant a lot to the young lady that raised them. Appreciate that.
